Brooklands Museum

30 acres of the original motor racing circuit and airfield dating back to 1907 has been transformed into a modern museum. It features the spectacular 1 in 4 steep banked track and the Edwardian clubhouse. You can re-live the heyday of motor racing by visiting Malcolm Campbell's workshop and the Brooklands racing car collection.

The racing circuit was closed on the outbreak of war in 1939 and much of the site was used by Vickers to build the famous Spitfire and Hurricane fighters as well as the Lancaster and Wellington bombers - one of which is on display.
