One of the main reasons people visit Oxshott is the beautiful Oxshott
Heath, owned by the council, but managed by Oxshott Heath Conservators,
a voluntary body set up in 1904 to protect the Heath.
It is a superb area for walking, horse riding, birdwatching, jogging,
dog walking and other outdoor recreational activities.
Although not as 'coiffed' as Painshill Park in Cobham, its natural beauty is still breathtaking.
