Will you really have the garden you really want?

Creating a new garden, or redesigning your present one, takes time, experience and patience.

Too often the would-be gardener drifts from one idea to another, doing work as the need arises, but wasting energy and money, because there is no co-ordination of ideas and no ultimate design objective.

Confronted by the difficulties of many landscaping projects, you put up with a garden which is less than perfect, and which seems to take up all your spare time just to keep tidy, and never gives you the pleasure and enjoyment you would like.

The garden as an "Outside Room"

You spend a great deal of time planning, choosing and decorating the inside of your home - why not the garden? Your garden should he a unified extension of your home - an outside room: somewhere to entertain your friends to an alfresco dinner, or a delightful place to relax on a softly perfumed evening, amid a bower of honey-suckle, lulled by the sound of softly tinkling water.

It isn't an impossible dream! You just need some help to make it happen.

How I can help you

I studied landscape Construction and Garden Design at Merrist Wood College, and gained the National Certificate in Horticulture with Distinction. Merrist Wood has an international reputation and has won 11 Gold medals at Chelsea in the last 14 years. I believe this training qualifies me to offer you first class landscaping skills.

I can plan a new garden for you, handling all aspects of design and construction from start to finish. Alternatively I can design a new feature in your existing garden, or sort out a problem area for you.

Also I offer a consultation service on an hourly basis, or you can take advantage of my new "Gardening by Numbers" package which comprises a twice yearly visit to your garden; an inventory of main shrubs and trees etc; a report on any immediate action which needs to be taken, and a month by month maintenance and pruning schedule. This costs from £175 per annum.
