The Cricketers
Today the Cricketers is one of the largest and most successful pubs in the area despite being hidden away from the main road down a short lane. A large car park has been built behind and the hedges swept away so drinkers can, on a fine warm day, sit at one of the many tables in front of the pub looking out across the green, and maybe thinking about cricket whilst sampling a variety of draught ales and eating fine food from the bar.
